Much has changed since the stork was delivering babies. Parents looked forward to meet their new baby on the day of birth. Boy or girl? Counting toes and fingers. Blond,red,dark hair?

21.Century... Ultrasound, 3D images, it's a boy, it's a girl...
The general public does not understand the physics behind Ultrasound and there are plenty of articles and studies that show we may not yet fully know all the effects of repeated Ultrasound. Yet of course this may remain a point for inquiry for a long time.
Go figure... But I say "when in doubt" don't. Give the Baby the privacy it deserves.
Have the ultrasounds that your doctor recommends for medical pupose to see if the baby is okay. It used to be 1 or 2.
